There was no screaming crowd
No human chain
No police tape
No barricade
When you were taking a little more than you should
There are no politics
That transients could tag walls with
That could outweigh the benefits of the moment
It’s never an emergency until it is
You’re the Sun, you’ve got nothing to gain
I’m sorry it turned out that way
All the beautiful things you illuminate
While dying patiently
And you were never more true to anything
Than counting all the lights as they turned on for evening
And loving their indifference,
Uncompromised and innocent

hey dude ask your mom if I can come over this weekend, we can stay up all night playing video games and eating sour punch straws and we'll never ever ever grow old. threatmidler

This album is so great end-to-end, it's hard to pick a single track to suggest to folks. I always recommend that people check out Boomer, Mustang, and Flagey God to get them started. coreytree
The post-hardcore band’s latest is a reflection on time, memory, death, and grief—and is their dreamiest material to date. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 22, 2019

A really heartfelt album with a lot of musical genius, personality and charisma to it. Easily one of the most comforting, yet absolutely off the wall, creative, chaotic and beautiful albums I have heard in a long time and will forever be one of my favourites. This piece of art has been there for me in many different ways and I imagine this album has had that positive effect for people in many other ways too. DJ 3-INCH TOAST
